The Chaucer League is a local tennis league, centred about Guildford
in South-West Surrey.
The league was formed in 1953 - so we're proud to have organised over 50 years of
competitive local tennis.
We provide a structure for tennis matches between the 19 member clubs
in an area from Weybridge (North) to Alfold (South), and Farnham
(West) to Dorking (East).
There are 9 leagues, which start in April and finish in September. In 2009 we shall be running 4 mens divisions, 1 ladies weekend and 1 ladies midweek
league, 3 mixed divisions and a midweek, mixed
league for veterans.
In the Winter months of January - April, we run a k/o tournament - singles & doubles - which players enter themselves. |
